Hey everyone, this is a video tutorial to show you how to do an untethered 4.3 jailbreak on your AppleTV 2G using Seas0nPass. This is a very simple and straight-forward tutorial that pretty much anyone can do. Please following along with the video and if you have any questions or issues feel free to ask.
- If you can’t get into DFU mode try doing a rest first(hold down menu and the down button for 6 seconds) and then attempt to enter DFU

A few months ago we wrote a tutorial on how to install IceFilms XMBC plugin that allows you to stream Movies and TV Shows to your AppleTV. It came to our attention from our readers that there are sometimes issues with IceFilms streaming videos. Apparently this is due to the IceFilms server having issues for one reason or anther.
Here is how you can fix the problem:
Step 1: Download this alternate version of default.py
Step 2: SSH into your AppleTV and locate the IceFilms XMBC plugin directory plugin.video.icefilms
- For Apple TV 2G it will be located in /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/
- For Apple TV 1G it will be located in /mnt/Scratch/Users/frontrow/Library/ApplicationSupport/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/

Only update if you do not want to jailbreak.
